Felicity Heaton should be outlawed!  Her writing is addictive, sensual, and Hunted by a Jaguar is one of the best escapes from reality I have had in a long time.  Heaton’s ability to pull you into the story apparently made some great entertainment for the family as my husband pointed out how much and often my face changes while I was reading Hunted by a Jaguar.  I am sure it does!  When I pick up this series I am preparing myself for a full submersion into the world and characters created by this author.

Hunted by a Jaguar is the 4th book in Felicity Heaton’s Eternal Mates series and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.  The heat in Hunted by a Jaguar cranked up to high and I basked in the intensity of it.  Hunted by a Jaguar focuses on Kyter, a jaguar shifter that was previously introduced in an earlier installment and is the owner of a nightclub in London and Iolanthe, a relative of someone we know and love.  (Don’t make me tell you!  It is a big spoiler and was a fun surprise!)  These two imperfect individuals come together with such great balance and force, it was truly a joy to be a part of their world.

Each of the characters are brought to life with a passion that was felt on each page.  Kyter and Iolanthe’s chemistry is completely unforgettable.  These two truly fit together and I loved the depth of their understanding of one another.   Their type of love was one of honesty and clarity, one where no one needs to bend to the other.  In a word…magical.

Hunted by a Jaguar is a complete story on its own, but the awesomeness of this series really should not be missed.   I highly recommend this entire series.   I am curious and a little impatient to see if there is a new back story emerging or if each new book in the series is going to have the stand alone feel here on out.  I will be impatiently patiently waiting to find out….

I rate Hunted by a Jaguar 4.5 out of 5 Bullets

This is a series that just keeps getting better and better. She does a good job of making each story a stand alone, while still including some characters from previous books into the book. This one stands alone more than the previous three, in my opinion. There is really one character that crosses over. That doesn’t make me like it any less. Luckily, we don’t have to wait long for the next few books. 🙂

I am glad we don’t have to wait TOO long either! This book certainly was more of a stand alone, and I am really hoping for another back story to emerge.

Thanks for the awesome review! The next few sort of tie-in with each other with characters that are introduced, and you’ll meet some new future heroes and heroines too, and catch up with a certain pesky dragon with blue hair and a penchant for stealing things… and yeah, you might, just might, find out who Bleu’s heroine is.
