Shirtless Bear-Fighter was exactly as ridiculous as it sounds, in the most fantastic way possible. Warning: caused outright moments of abrupt laughter.

Here is a bit of backstory on me: My family is from Alaska and bears were not an uncommon sight when we were out fishing, which was quite regularly. They were a part of normal life, much like snakes are where I live now. Show a book like Shirtless Bear-Fighter and part of it just reminds me of home. This was probably a big part of why I initially gravitated towards pre-ordering this series on sight. Now, I couldn't imagine a world where I didn't read Shirtless Bear-Fighter.

Yes, it is silly and probably inappropriate. Yes, it is outrageous and immature. Yes, it is also awesome. Major shout out to the artists for doing a brilliant job with characters facial expressions matching the story, some of panels literally brought tears to my eyes from laughing so hard.  And that is part of the whole thing..Shirtless Bear-Fighter did have a story line! This first issue has be hooked and I cannot see what comes next..
