FaxExpo Dallas Review

FaxExpo Dallas Review

How does one define a good time? Every individual has their our own preferences and expectations. Their own boundaries and comfort levels. Combining the levels of enjoyment of each of these things, is probably what defines one’s level of good during a certain time period. Money is also always a factor, when discussing conventions or anything else, for that matter. So, a good time could be formulated to each individual based on all of those factors. Mine runs on some form of this equation…  LEVEL OF STRESS/THINGS THAT MADE ME SMILE OR LAUGH + MEMORABLE MOMENTS = FUN LEVEL (wow…that is… Read more »

Book Review of Thunder Wolf by Heather Long

Book Review of Thunder Wolf by Heather Long

Thunder Wolf is the 11th book in Heather Long’s Wolves of Willow Bend series. It is no secret that I am a complete fan of this series, but I think Thunder Wolf fell a little short. Still an enjoyable read and I really enjoyed the progress of the ongoing story arc. There is some great action, a few mysteries solved and a relationship bloomed. FanExpo Dallas ~ What do YOU want to know?

The time is almost upon us! FanExpo Dallas is only 10 days away and I am woefully unprepared. Pieces of my cosplay are truly..pieces. That means it is TIME. Time for the panic that seems to ignite motivation in my veins and fire in my heart!  It is also time to decide which celebrity will make the final cut into my photo-op budget. The budget is slim, my friends! *bites nails* And finally, it is time to decide which comic artists I want to seek out and obtain work from or have them sign current comics I own and/or see… Read more »

Book Review ~ Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs

Book Review ~ Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs

Silence Fallen is the 10th installment in Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson series. This is a series I have followed since the beginning and waaayyyy before this site ever existed. It is a series that I will continue to read, but the last few books are just missing the pizzazz that the beginning of the series held. Silence Fallen starts off exciting and the author takes us abroad, swiftly changing the tone and adding in new characters. I thought this new expedition would bring back some of the excitement, but I feel that the lack of of a new over-arching plot… Read more »
