Book Review: Bitten by a Hellcat by Felicity Heaton

Book Review: Bitten by a Hellcat by Felicity Heaton

Bitten by a Hellcat by Felicity Heaton is the sixth installment in her Eternal Mates series.  Bitten by a Hellcat is full of sexy fun, suspense, and action! Heaton fell right back into greatness with Bitten by a Hellcat and really glad I stuck with this series.  Full of the action I came to love and some great plot twists is only part of what kept me turning the pages.  Both of the main characters found their groove after the first couple… Read more »

Book Review: Spirit of the Pride by T.J. Michaels

Book Review: Spirit of the Pride by T.J. Michaels

Spirit of the Pride by T.J. Michaels is the first book in her Pryde Ranch Shifters series.  This novella contained much heat and a lot of fun. Spirit of the Pride zoomed into the story and held nothing back.  T.J. Michaels can do sexy with a capitol S and this novella was no exception.  A secure plotline left me wanting more!  Maybe to the point of being a little unsatisfied.  I was enjoying learning more about the twins and shifter… Read more »

Book Review ~ Thane by Brandy Walker

Book Review ~ Thane by Brandy Walker

This is a series I am glad I found in the beginning.  Brandy Walker’s Mystic Zodiac series is a 12 book novella series with one book coming out every month this year.  (At least this is my understanding)  Thane was the perfect escape during my busy weekend! I am such a sucker for Greek Mythology.  I began this obsession at a very young age and It still holds true today.  Walker does a great job using the foundation of the Greek gods and goddesses… Read more »

Book Review: Primal by Sasha White

Book Review: Primal by Sasha White

Primal is packed full of raw Alpha male and Sasha White delivers a full out erotic romance with a great story line in this first Overwatch series title. As you probably have noticed, I don’t read a ton of books outside the realm of paranormal, but have been venturing out a little more in the last year or so.  Primal is a book I would not have previously read based on the sole fact that it didn’t fit into my… Read more »

Audiobook Review: The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

Audiobook Review: The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

Neil Gaiman has a special talent – writing creepy and not in the same way blood or gore are creepy. Gaiman does not need to use curse words or violence.  His true talent is recognizing the childlike fears we hold inside and creating a story that explores the depth of them. The Ocean at the End of the Lane is such a great example of this talent.  The innocent fears of an everyday child come alive in this shorter story about an impossible journey.  Impossible,… Read more »

Book Review Wolf At Law by Heather Long

Book Review Wolf At Law by Heather Long

Wolf at Law is a novella prequel to the Wolves of Willow Bend series and focuses on Ryan Hudsons- the pack’s attorney. Wolf at Law is Ryan’s story after he stumbles into his mate, Tiffany on a business trip outside of pack territory. This prequel added some real depth to currently released books.  I was surprised at how much exactly it did enrich the other stories.   There was something about the dire situation Tiffany was in and a true Prince Charming feel… Read more »
