Book Review: Wolf Claim by Heather Long

Book Review: Wolf Claim by Heather Long

Wolf Claim is Heather Long‘s third installment in her Wolves of Willow Bend series.  Wolf Claim broadens our knowledge of other packs as well as the dynamic between the healers and their pack.  A great installment in this new paranormal series! Long’s writing is addictive.  The worlds flow with smooth consistency, like buttah.  Her story telling truly does make you feel like part of this world and I don’t want to leave.  So much so, I wanted to seriously kick this hero in the nuts.  Maybe repeatedly.  He was a flippin’ man idiot.  The flip side is the healer heroine.  She… Read more »

Book Review: Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews

Book Review: Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews

Burn for Me is Ilona Andrew’s first installment in the Hidden Legacy Series.  Honestly, if you don’t know who this husband/wife team is, you need to come forward and present yourself to the COUNSEL OF WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?  Their previous Urban Fantasy series will forever remain one of my all time favorites and are definitely in the reread category. And now onto to this new Series!      Burn for Me is a fantastic story.  I loved the dynamic Nevada had with her family and reading about all of the different personalities under one roof made me long for that kind… Read more »

Review: Wolf Bite by Heather Long

Review: Wolf Bite by Heather Long

Wolf Bite is Heather Long‘s first installment in her Wolves of Willow Bend series.  Wolf Bite started out and ended with greatness. Long did a fantastic job starting and ending this first book.  Series starters are always so difficult for this reviewer. Mostly because I am trying to learn a new world while completing a complete story.  I think she did a great job at both. I enjoyed the chemistry between Mason and Alexis.  Especially trying to figure out, not only the complexity of their history, but the pack dynamic as well. Wolf Bite certainly focused on Mason and Alexis,… Read more »

Review: Croc and the Fox by Eve Langlais

Review: Croc and the Fox by Eve Langlais

Croc and the Fox by Eve Langlais is the 3rd installment in her Furry United Coalition.  Yes, the acronym is FUC.  This is a book that doesn’t take its self seriously and was an overall fun read.  *This is the first book I read in the FUC series.   Croc and the Fox is an altogether entertaining read.  With outlandish humor and a fast paced story line, the pages were a joy to read.  I don’t think you could really compare this book to anything.  It is like crazy shifter comedy.  With action!  Even the villain was hard to take… Read more »

Review: Casey’s Warriors (Bondmates #1) by Ann Mayburn

Review: Casey’s Warriors (Bondmates #1) by Ann Mayburn

Casey’s Warriors by Ann Mayburn is the first book in her Bondmates series.  I will be anxiously waiting the second installment in this series and cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this dirty sci-fi! Casey’s Warriors will not be for the faint at heart.  Classified as a M/M/F I was curious how much story would be involved in this book.  Wow.  I was blown away.  (haha – get your mind out of the gutter bitches) The story and world building was just phenomenal.   Casey’s Warriors is one sexier than hell book with so much going for it, but sex… Read more »

Review: Tempted by a Rogue Prince by Felicity Heaton

Review: Tempted by a Rogue Prince by Felicity Heaton

Tempted by a Rogue Prince is Felicity Heaton’s third installment in her Eternal Mates series.  I have reviewed all of this series so far and you can click on the series above to see the reviews of the other reviews in the Eternal Mates books. Tempted by a Rogue Prince is certainly the darkest out of the three released titles so far.  If you have not read the first two, I believe it could become overwhelming to have an understanding of why and how Vail is who he is.  Without that understanding many of the scenes in this book could be harder… Read more »
