Book Review: Turned (The Belladonna Agency #1) by Virna DePaul

Book Review: Turned (The Belladonna Agency #1) by Virna DePaul

Turned by Virna DePaul is hard for me to review. Don’t get me wrong I really liked the characters and I can see this is the first book in the Belladonna Agency Series and background is always a must. Also the scenes between Ty and Ana will surly steam your windows up!  There is just some small part of me that felt the plot got a little soft at the end.  Then again I felt this was more about Ty… Read more »

Book Review: The Undead Pool by Kim Harrison

Book Review: The Undead Pool by Kim Harrison

The Undead Pool by Kim Harrison is the 12th book in The Hollows series.  If you ask me, I think it might be the best installment yet!  My favorite witch/day-walking demon is trying hard to stay out of trouble, but when you are Rachel Morgan that is a hard mission to accomplish. All of the cast is back in action and character growth is vibrant, making  The Undead Pool the best book YET of The Hallows series.  Although I love… Read more »

Book Review: Night Owls (Night Owls #1) by Lauren M. Roy

Book Review: Night Owls (Night Owls #1) by Lauren M. Roy

I have to start with how much I enjoyed Night Owls by Lauren M. Roy. How can you go wrong with a Vampire that owns a book store? I mean really?  Retired hunter Valerie runs a college book store in a normally quiet small town. That is until Creeps or Jackals start coming to town, and well everyone else. A page turner with several creatures of the night racing to uncover the mysteries of the book Elly from the brotherhood… Read more »

Novella Review: The Damsel and the Daggerman (Blud #2.5) by Delilah S. Dawson

Novella Review: The Damsel and the Daggerman (Blud #2.5) by Delilah S. Dawson

The Damsel and the Daggerman is a novella from Delilah S. Dawson’s Blud series.  The Damsel and the Daggerman is a well written and developed Novella. Jacinda was such a lovely character and addition to the diverse feel of this world.  Her chemistry with Marco was explosive and unique. The mystery of Marcos’ character added depth to this novella and it contained a story in its entirety.  Marco was a great male character.  Reluctant (for a good reason) and solitary… Read more »

Book Review: One Lucky Vampire: An Argeneau Novel by Lynsay Sands

Book Review: One Lucky Vampire: An Argeneau Novel by Lynsay Sands

One Lucky Vampire by Lynsay Sands is an Argeneau Novel series read.  I admit that I totally love this series and have read every book in every series in order.  I believe this is the first book by Sands that I would not recommend reading without reading previous books in this series first.   Many characters from previous books popped in and out and even I felt a little confused at times.  I think if I would not have had… Read more »

Book Review A Kiss of Blood (Vamp City, #2) by Pamela Palmer

Book Review A Kiss of Blood (Vamp City, #2) by Pamela Palmer

~Book Review~ A Kiss of Blood is the second installment in the Vamp City series and takes off right at the beginning.   The future of Vamp City is still unknown and everyone believes Quinn Lennox is the only who can save it.  I do want to warn that this series is on the dark side and is not a typical Paranormal Romance.  I would still classify it this series as Dark Paranormal.  Arturo Mazza has led Quinn into a… Read more »
