The Basics of Poker

Poker is a card game that involves betting, bluffing and chance. The game has a long history and is played worldwide. It is a game of skill that is based on probability, psychology and game theory. Each player begins the game with a fixed number of chips that represent money. They must place these chips in the pot before they can begin to play.
